The renewed Welcome Team of the Welcome Amsterdam Foundation consists of about 30 volunteers who welcome visitors to Amsterdam in a hospitable way and show the way to the busiest squares in the city center. For example, they refer on request to hotels, restaurants, museums, attractions, shops and shopping streets, markets, parks, public transport etc. They also give advice on preventing pickpocketing. They have a broad knowledge of Amsterdam and surroundings and have various foreign languages. Special attention is paid to the attractions and places of interest outside the city center to spread the crowds in the city.
